Buckingham Palace has stated that the doctors are “concerned” about the queen’s health.

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom is currently under “medical monitoring”

According to a statement released by Buckingham Palace on Thursday, the Queen has been placed under “medical supervision” at her property at Balmoral Castle, which is located in Scotland. The members of the Queen’s family have made their way to the estate in order to visit their grandmother, who is now 96 years old.

According to a statement released by Buckingham Palace, “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned about Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical monitoring. The Queen is doing well and is continuing to reside at Balmoral.”

Moving Markets

The Queen’s eldest son and heir apparent, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla, have headed to Balmoral to spend time with the monarch, a Clarence House official has announced. Prince William, Prince Charles’s oldest son, has also reportedly gone to the estate in Scotland.

In response to reports that the Queen’s health is failing, the newly elected Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss, stated that the “whole country” is “very concerned.”

Truss made the following statement: “My sympathies, along with the thoughts of people all over the United Kingdom, are with Her Majesty the Queen and her family at this time.” This new news comes just two days after Queen Elizabeth II officially named Truss as the new prime minister during a visit to Truss at her retreat in the Scottish Highlands.
